Your drapes, cleaned without coming down.
DrapeCare cleans drapery and curtains right on the rod, usually in about an hour a room, and gives wool, silk and hand-knotted rugs the slow, careful wash they need. Orlando and Central Florida, by a third-generation cleaning family.

Two things, done properly.
Most cleaners treat drapes and rugs as an add-on. They are the whole job here.
On-site drapery & curtain cleaning
Pinch-pleat, ripplefold, sheers, silk, velvet and linen, plus valances and Roman shades. Vacuumed, spot-treated and cleaned in place with a low-moisture method chosen after a test on your fabric. Nothing gets taken down, shipped out or rehung crooked.
How on-site cleaning worksWool & fine rug care
Hand-knotted wool, Persian and oriental, silk, and the viscose rugs that brown when the wrong cleaner gets near them. Every rug gets a fiber check and dye test first. Light cleaning happens on site; a full wash happens in the shop, with pickup and return.
How we care for rugsWhy on the rod is better
Taking drapes down to a dry cleaner means a ladder crew, one to three weeks of bare windows, and pleats that often hang shorter or uneven when they come back. Lined drapes are the worst for it: the face fabric and the lining shrink at different rates.
Cleaning in place skips all of that. The drapes stay on their hardware, the pleats keep their memory, and the room is usable the same afternoon.
- About an hour per room for most homes
- Tall, two-story and motorized drapes stay installed
- No take-down or rehang charge
- Fragile or sun-rotted fabric is flagged before we start, not after

Every visit, the same four steps
So whoever runs the house always knows what was done and what we noticed.
Inspect and photograph
Fiber, lining, fading, sun rot, water rings and old stains get written down before anything is touched.
Test a hidden spot
A dye and shrink test on a hem or a rug corner decides the method and the chemistry.
Clean
Drapes in place with floors and furniture covered. Rugs on site, or rolled, tagged and taken to the shop.
Send the report
Before and after photos, what was used, and anything that needs repair or watching.
Where we work
Based in Orlando. Scheduled trips to Palm Beach County, and our sister company covers Knoxville.
Questions people ask first
Can drapes really be cleaned while they hang?
Yes, for most fabrics. We vacuum the tops and pleats, treat spots, and clean the face fabric with a low-moisture method chosen after a test on a hidden area. Fabrics that can't be cleaned safely in place, like badly sun-rotted silk, are flagged before we start.
Will my drapes shrink?
Shrinkage comes from soaking the fabric, which is what happens at a dry cleaner when lined panels go through a full wash. Cleaning in place uses very little moisture, and the test spot shows how your fabric reacts before we touch the rest.
How much does it cost?
Most Orlando homes land between $200 and $600 for drapery, depending on how many windows and how full the pleats are. Wool rugs are priced by size and fiber. See the price guide, or text a photo for an exact quote.
Do you clean rugs at the house or take them?
Both. Rugs in good shape get a maintenance clean on site, often the same visit as the drapes. Heavily soiled rugs, pet accidents, silk and viscose go to the shop for a full wash, with pickup and return.
Send a photo, get a price
Text a photo of each window or rug, plus the care label if you can find it. We reply with a price range and the next open times, usually the same day.
